The success of Fly needs little explanation, one look at these finely detailed models shows the high standard of production and printing that adorn their vehicles. Fly started their release in the mid 90's and revolutionized the standard that ready to run slot car manufacturers worked to. Other producers increased their car detailing but Fly still lead the way in quality and attention to detail. These cars also score highly in the performance stakes, strong magnets and fast motors making them racers to be reckoned with. Vanquish, a Spanish company founded by one time Fly employees, began by producing detailed models from the exciting Can Am racing series. Subsequently they introduced their own innovations; including working differentials and astounding detailing. Vanquish cars have as much detail under the hood as they do on it. Vanquish MG models are no longer in production so these great cars are destined to be collectors pieces, well worth grabbing while stocks last!

Spirit are a Spanish manufacturer, having started December 2002, releasing popular models of Lolas and Ferraris. Since then they have expanded their range with Rally versions of the Renault 5 and Peugeot 205. Their cars are bright, distinctive and affordable, well worth taking a look at.
Recently the company has produced models in both standard format and a lighter, tuned Sport range. All spirit cars are compatible with other 1/32 slot car makes (Scalextric, Ninco, Fly etc).
Revell/Monogram slot cars have been manufacturing since the 1960s (albeit with an interim break) and produce some superbly detailed and affordable slot cars in their current range, the current focus being on American endurance cars.

MRRC slot cars hail from England and have been producing models for a number of years now, recently re-issuing a range of cars and accessories. The cars are fast and the detailing is excellent, the low price making these cars superb value for money.

Proslot are an Italian manufacturer, having produced models from 1998-2002. Their range of vehicles is composed of modern racing cars, with vintage vehicles being covered by their budget Policar range which offers fanstastic value for money. These cars race well and are ideal for tuning and modifying.

Proteus slot cars are a Spanish manufacturer, unfortunately no longer in production. The two models they did issue (Heuliez Pregunta and Lamborghini Murcielago) are of fantistic quality, well worth checking out. Stock of all Proteus cars is limited.
